We're seeking a Shift-Left and Observability Expert at the L2 level with 5-6 years of experience to join our team. This role is for a hands-on technical expert who will focus on performance optimization, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing effective Root Cause Correction Actions (RCCA) across our core digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in performance engineering and a solid understanding of modern observability practices.

Responsibilities
- Performance Engineering : Participate in all phases of performance testing, from requirement gathering to analysis and reporting.
- Shift-Left Integration : Work to integrate performance testing into the early stages of the software development lifecycle to identify and resolve performance issues proactively.
- APM Tooling : Use advanced APM tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace to monitor application performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and analyze system behavior.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Correction (RCCA) : Conduct in-depth analysis to determine the root cause of performance issues and collaborate with development teams to implement long-term solutions.
- Database & API Optimization : Analyze and optimize database queries and conduct API testing and performance tuning using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, and Swagger.
- Domain Expertise : Apply knowledge of domains such as E-commerce, Payments, Core Banking, and CRM to understand and improve system performance in these specific business contexts.
- Customer Experience : Analyze user journeys and provide recommendations to enhance the overall digital customer experience.
- Service Virtualization : Implement service virtualization for systems like acquiring and issuing banks to enable comprehensive testing when external dependencies are unavailable.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development and business teams.A proven ability to define and track Performance Metrics and KPIs.Required Skills
Experience : 4-5 years in a performance engineering role.Technical Stack : Proven experience optimizing applications based on ASP.NET and Java.Performance Tools : Hands-on expertise with APM tools like AppDynamics and / or Dynatrace.API & Messaging Protocols : Proficient in API testing with Postman, SOAP UI, and Swagger. Experience with message queue testing using IBM MQ Client and other tools is also required. Knowledge of protocols like HTTP, ISO8583, Seibel CRM, and TCP is essential.Database Skills : Strong skills in SQL for writing and analyzing queries, with experience in database performance tuning.Analytical Skills : Expertise in log parsing and analysis for end-to-end customer journey mapping and issue resolution.
