Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager, located in Varanasi, on Gangotri - A Divine River Retreat, UP's first ever luxury Floating Hotel having 5-star facilities, catering to elite guests. The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the business, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management, staff recruitment and training, compliance with legal and safety standards, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to drive operational excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years prior experience as GM / AGM at a reputed hotel property
• Leadership and team management skills, including experience in leading and motivating teams effectively
• Strong strategic planning and organizational abilities
• Experience in financial management, planning, and budgeting
• Customer service and hospitality management expertise
• Knowledge of legal and safety compliance in the hospitality or tourism sector
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
