Python Engineer with Trading Platform Experience – Pune (Balewadi High Street).

Contract

Hybrid onsite

Role :

Modernize and run post-trade processing systems by re-architecting legacy Python services into scalable, cloud-ready applications. Own services during India hours in a “you build it, you run it” model.

Responsibilities :

Refactor legacy code into scalable services.

Build and deploy containers using Docker and Kubernetes.

Optimize high-volume workloads on PostgreSQL / MySQL.

Support batch jobs, monitoring, issue resolution, and end-of-day processing.

Requirements :

8+ years experience, 5+ years in Python.

Strong production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD, and Linux.

Solid database performance tuning and legacy system modernization experience.

Preferred :

Post-trade or financial systems exposure.

FIX protocol, Terraform / Helm, REST APIs, or messaging tools like Kafka / RabbitMQ.
