They are establishing a highly strategic, independent onshore trading entity in India to operate their proprietary automated strategies on the NSE and BSE. They are seeking a pivotal Trader to launch and manage this key operation.

The Opportunity : Automated Strategy Trader

They are seeking a highly skilled, autonomous, and risk-disciplined Trader to assume the critical role of the primary onshore trader responsible for the execution, position management, and operational risk governance of their advanced automated trading strategies. This is a high-impact role essential for ensuring optimal strategy performance and market adherence.

Key Responsibilities

This role is a blend of operational trading, execution management, and embedded risk control.

• Position Management & Execution : Direct the real-time running of proprietary strategies. Utilize discretion to increase, decrease, and manage trading positions within the automated systems' parameters, reacting dynamically to market conditions to maximize strategy return.
• Risk Governance & Monitoring : Serve as the crucial onshore manager responsible for continuously monitoring, articulating, and managing the position and market risk for the trading book. Ensure uncompromising adherence to all internal risk limits and exchange-mandated systems (RMS).
• Applied Options Expertise : As a Trader, you will leverage deep, practical knowledge of Option Greeks and Indian market dynamics (including expiry cycles) to proactively assess and control the risk profile of the derivatives positions.
• Operational Excellence : Act as the primary operational contact, ensuring system stability and facilitating rapid troubleshooting in collaboration with the client's global Technology and Strategy teams during market hours.
