Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Practice Lead - Embedded Systems!

We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, AI implementation in the Engineering process, and will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation. Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems. Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.

Develop and enforce quality standards for embedded system development. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability and performance.

Mentor junior engineers and provide training sessions to enhance team capabilities. Share knowledge through workshops and seminars.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Experience in embedded system development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++, familiarity with Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Experience in embedded systems development with good understanding of embedded software development, including C / C++, RTOS, and microcontroller architectures and communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.

Knowledge of FPGA, System design, verification and validation, and test automation.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies with proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to production

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Experience with IoT applications and gen AI integration.

Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to embedded systems.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
