Cloud Migration Engineer - Azure / Cloudera

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to Azure Cloud.
• Design and implement Azure landing zones, networking, security, and governance frameworks.
• Plan and execute Cloudera cluster migration from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
• Optimize and re-architect workloads for Azure-native services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Event Hub.
• Perform lift-and-shift as well as modernization strategies for Cloudera-based big data platforms.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and high availability during migration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Application, Database, Security, Infra, and Data Engineers) to ensure smooth migration.
• Provide post-migration support, performance tuning, and cost optimization on Skills :
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Storage, Security).
• Proven experience in end-to-end Azure migration projects.
• Deep knowledge of Cloudera / Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Impala, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Oozie,

etc.).
