Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Substation Engineer. The Substation Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing substation projects, including preparing electrical design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating with stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include performing power system analyses, calculating electrical loads, and developing design layouts for power distribution systems. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, providing technical support, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Qualifications

Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills

Knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution systems

Experience with Power Systems and power system analyses

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and remotely

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
