Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Magento 2 Development : Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce applications and custom modules .
  • Modular Components : Build reusable, modular components and solutions from scratch.
  • API & Service Integration : Integrate RESTful APIs , GraphQL endpoints , and third-party services (e.g., ERP , CRM , Constructor.io ).
  • GraphQL Schema Extension : Extend GraphQL schemas for custom Magento modules.
  • Magento Back-End Management : Manage Magento indexing , caching (Varnish / Redis), and cron jobs for back-end synchronization.
  • Multi-Site & Multi-Language Configurations : Handle multi-site , multi-store , multi-currency , and multi-language configurations.
  • Collaboration in Agile Environments : Collaborate with UI / UX designers , QA , and Product teams in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Code Optimization : Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of the Magento codebase.
  • Code Reviews : Perform peer code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices .
  • Headless Commerce / PWA : Work with headless commerce or PWA Studio architecture (preferred).
  • CI / CD Implementation : Implement CI / CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps , Git , and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .

Required Skills :

  • Magento 2 Expertise : Deep knowledge in Magento 2+ , including architecture and development best practices .
  • Custom Development : Custom module development and Magento backend customization .
  • PHP & MySQL : Strong skills in PHP and MySQL .
  • API & GraphQL : Experience in RESTful APIs and GraphQL ; ability to extend schemas and build scalable endpoints.
  • Magento Performance Management : Magento indexing , caching (Varnish / Redis) , and cron job management .
  • Third-party Integrations : Experience integrating with third-party services (e.g., ERP , CRM , Constructor.io ).
  • Multi-Site / Store Setup : Exposure to multi-site / store-view setups with language and currency support.
  • CI / CD Tools : Proficiency in CI / CD tools like Azure DevOps , Git , and experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, RestAssured, etc.).
  • Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira .

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Adobe Commerce Certification : Adobe Commerce Professional / Expert certification.
  • Headless Architecture / PWA : Experience with headless architecture or Magento PWA Studio .
  • Cloud & Deployment Practices : Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , and cloud deployment practices .
  • Performance Tuning & Security : Understanding of performance tuning , load testing , and security best practices .
