At our Vadodara centre, we aim to deliver excellence in embryology and reproductive science through a patient-centric and outcome-driven approach.

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Embryologist who will lead the embryology laboratory operations and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring high standards of fertilisation, embryo culture, micromanipulation and cryopreservation. The candidate must be proficient in ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) and other advanced micromanipulation techniques, ensure compliance with all quality and safety protocols, and contribute to improving lab performance and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead day-to-day embryology lab operations including oocyte retrieval processing, sperm preparation, fertilisation (including ICSI), embryo culture, blastocyst development and embryo transfer / cryopreservation.
• Execute and optimise ICSI and micromanipulation protocols (PICSI / IMSI ideally) to maximise success rates.
• Ensure the lab environment, equipment calibration, media, quality control and documentation adhere to best-in-class standards.
• Mentor and train junior embryologists and technicians, maintain a high level of team competency.
• Collaborate with clinicians & nursing teams to plan and coordinate cases, particularly complex or high-risk patients.
• Monitor key lab metrics KPIs (fertilisation rates, cleavage rates, blastocyst formation, thaw survival etc.), identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strict adherence to ethical, regulatory and safety guidelines, including traceability, contamination control and patient confidentiality.
• Stay updated with new advancements in embryology and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the unit.
• Commitment to work on other centers of BFI as and when required on batch basis.
