About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Functional / Technical Consultant to lead end-to-end HR technology initiatives within our enterprise landscape. This role demands deep expertise in Workday HCM configuration, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex HR requirements into scalable, high-performance Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • End-to-End Workday Lifecycle Management : Own the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle, ensuring streamlined processes across Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Learning modules.
  • Product Launch Leadership : Plan, coordinate, and execute cross-functional Workday product launches in collaboration with HR, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Employee Experience Optimization : Continuously enhance Workday UI / UX, workflows, and automation to improve efficiency and adoption.
  • Platform Ownership : Act as the primary Workday SME across the HR tech ecosystem, ensuring integrations and touchpoints with third-party systems are seamless.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with HR leadership, People Engineering, and IT teams to align Workday enhancements with business priorities.
  • Functional & Technical Delivery : Lead research, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support for new Workday functionality.
  • Integration Oversight : Oversee and optimize Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 7+ years in implementing / managing Workday solutions within large enterprises.
  • 4+ years hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience (Core HCM, Business Process Configuration, Security, Reporting, and Calculated Fields).
  • 2+ years supporting other Workday modules (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning).
  • Strong HR domain expertise with the ability to map business processes to Workday functionalities.
  • Proven ability to work in complex, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
  • High focus on quality, execution, and meeting delivery timelines.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or HR Technology.
  • Workday Pro Certification in relevant HCM tracks (Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, etc.).
  • Expertise in Workday Integration technologies (Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST / SOAP APIs).
  • Ability to define best practices, standardization, and governance for Workday usage across the organization.
