Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Odoo Developer. The Odoo Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Odoo applications, performing back-end customization development. The role includes tasks like programming, implementing object-oriented principles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective software solutions.
Qualifications
- Customize existing Odoo modules and develop new modules based on business requirements.
- Design and implement custom workflows, forms, and approval processes tailored to contracting company operations.
- Modify views, reports, and dashboards for project, procurement, and cost-control management.
- Ensure smooth integration between Odoo apps (Projects, Purchase, Inventory, HR, Accounting, CRM, etc.).
- Analyze and document current company workflows (Estimation → Project Execution → Procurement → Invoicing → HR → Accounting).
- Map business processes into Odoo ERP and recommend best practices.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth migration and adaptation.
- Customize user access roles and data permissions per department.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and KPIs for management (project cost tracking, budget variance, procurement status, etc.).
- Create user-friendly dashboards for department heads and management.
- Proven experience with Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL .
- Strong understanding of contracting, construction, or engineering workflows .
- Familiarity with Odoo 19
- Knowledge of Odoo Studio , API integrations , and module packaging .
- Experience in managing multi-company environments and access permissions .
