Calypso Front Office

We are seeking an experienced Calypso Business Analyst with strong front office domain knowledge to support and enhance the Calypso platform used for trading and risk management. You will work closely with traders, risk managers, and technology teams to ensure optimal use of Calypso for pricing, trade capture, P&L reporting, and risk analytics across asset classes.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience with Calypso platform in a front-office or risk management environment.

Strong knowledge of financial products: Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, Credit Derivatives, Bonds, Structured Products.

Understanding of trading desk operations, risk analytics, and P&L generation.

Experience with Calypso trade capture, pricing models, and workflow configurations.

Familiarity with Calypso GUI, trade templates, and position management tools.

Good knowledge of market data concepts (curves, surfaces, feeds).

Excellent communication skills to interact with traders and technical teams.

Nice To Have

Basic knowledge of Java or Calypso APIs for troubleshooting or enhancement.

Experience with regulatory compliance modules (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID).

Previous involvement in Calypso implementation or migration projects.

Knowledge of SQL, XML messaging, or Calypso Data Model.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary liaison between front office users and technology teams for Calypso-related functionality.

Capture and document business requirements related to trade capture, pricing, risk, and P&L reporting.

Configure and test Calypso trade workflows, templates, and pricing models.

Support integration of market data (curves, vol surfaces) and real-time position management tools.

Assist in trade lifecycle events, including novations, unwinds, and corporate actions.

Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production deployment.

Investigate and resolve Calypso trade booking and valuation issues.

Support regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II) from a front office perspective.
