Job descriptionATTEND PREVENTIVE, SHUTDOWN & BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE OF THE MACHINES AND UTILITY EQUIPMENT. SHIFT WISE HANDOVER AND TAKEOVER OF THE CHARGE. MAINTAINING THE LOG BOOK & DEPLOY MANPOWER FOR PENDING WORK. TO DECIDE THE PRIORITY OF WORK TO BE DONE WITHIN THE SHIFT AND IF WORK IS NOT COMPLETED THEN INFORM NEXT SHIFT INCHARGE. TAKE PREVENTIVE / CORRECTIVE ACTION WITH CONSULTATION OF RESPECTIVE SECTION INCHARGE FOR REPETITIVE BREAKDOWN / MAJOR BREAKDOWN. ANALYZE AND SOLVE THE PROBLEMS IN MACHINE & UTILITY EQUIPMENT. MAINTAINING ALL THE RECORDS RELATED TO QMS REQUIREMENTS LIKE HISTORY CARD, PREVENTIVE CHECKLISTS, AND CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE ETC. CHECK MONITOR OF COMPRESSOR OPERATION. DO MAINTENANCE OF MACHINE & RO PLANT AS PER INSTRUCTION GIVEN BY SECTION INCHARGE. BACK WASHING OF REACTOR TANK, UF SYSTEM REGULARLY BY THE TECHNICIAN. USES OF SUITABLE PPE FOR GOOD SAFETY PRACTICE BY HIMSELF & ENSURE FOR SUB ORDINATES. PREPARE CRITICAL SPARES TO REDUCE MAINTENANCE RESPONSE TIME. ENSURE PROPER SAFETY METHODS ARE USED WHILE DOING MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES. CHECK / MONITOR OF ETP / STP OPERATIONS. TO PARTICIPATE IN HOUSE AND EXTERNAL TRAINING WHENEVER APPLICABLE. THE WORK PERFORMANCE OF TRADESMEN ASSIGNED TO VARIOUS SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE SHIFT ENGINEER IS REVIEWED BY THE HOD. ALL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SHALL BE COMPLETED ON A DAILY SHIFT BASIS AND DAILY PM SHEETS SIGNED OFF BY THE SUB ORDINATES. ENSURE THE CALIBRATION OF UTILITY EQUIPMENT AT REGULAR INTERVAL. INSPECTION OF ALL MACHINING PARTS AND PURCHASE ITEMS WHENEVER REQUIRED. RESPONSIBLE TO MAINTAIN SAFETY AND HOUSE SKIPPING IN WORKING AREA.
