Job description

Role Summary :

The incumbent will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all property-related documentation and legal records. This role involves coordination with legal teams, government authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure clear title, proper documentation, and smooth execution of property transactions and registrations.

Key Responsibilities :

Property Documentation & Legal Review

Draft, review, and vet various real estate documents such as Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Development Agreements, MoUs, Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), and Power of Attorney.

Ensure accuracy and legal validity of all property-related documentation before execution and registration.

Verify land titles, encumbrance certificates, and ownership documents.

Due Diligence & Compliance

Conduct detailed title due diligence for land and property acquisitions.

Ensure compliance with local property laws, RERA regulations, and municipal norms.

Maintain updated documentation as per regulatory and company policies.

Liaison & Coordination

Coordinate with external legal counsel, government offices (Sub-Registrar, Revenue, and Municipal departments), and other authorities for document verification, registration, and mutation.

Work closely with business development, legal, and finance teams to support property transactions.

Record Management

Maintain organized physical and digital records of all property documents, agreements, and approvals.

Develop and implement systems for efficient document tracking and retrieval.

Risk Management & Advisory

Identify potential risks related to documentation or title issues and advise management on mitigation measures.

Keep management informed on changes in property laws or documentation procedures that impact operations.
