Job Role / Title : Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert to support investment management systems with a focus on Indian Mutual Fund Investment Accounting applications. The role requires deep expertise in SimCorp Dimension (SCD), strong domain knowledge in asset management, and the ability to guide, train, and support business users.
Core Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on expertise in SimCorp Dimension (SCD), with strong understanding of its functionality and end-user workflows.
- Deliver end-user support, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective knowledge sharing.
- Leverage a thorough understanding of SCD integration with Bloomberg, Custodians, RTAs, and other dependent systems.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the SCD data model and configure the system as needed to support business requirements.
- Train and mentor business users on system usage, configurations, and best practices.
- Drive full implementation and production support for SimCorp Dimension, including upgrades, patches, and change requests.
- Execute and support SCD Oracle 19c / 23c database activities and PL / SQL queries.
- Deliver and support SCD reporting; assist business teams with ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Apply best practices in system support, change management, and upgrade cycles.
- Monitor system performance and capacity, with proactive planning for growth.
- Conduct regular reviews of support calls, CRs, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and document results.
- Maintain compliance with audit requirements, providing evidence and documentation as needed.
- Collaborate daily with business stakeholders and vendors to manage support, changes, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with infrastructure and application security guidelines in line with SimCorp standards.
- Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and ensure readiness for Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Education and Experience Requirements :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.Proven experience as a Business Analyst or SME in Investment / Asset Management systems, with strong exposure to middle- and back-office operations.Extensive hands-on experience in SimCorp Dimension implementation, configuration, and production support.Solid understanding of investment management processes, data, and accounting.Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (19c / 23c), PL / SQL, and reporting tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and project management practices.Excellent skills in documentation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and perform under pressure.Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a track record of leading or supporting cross-functional teams.(ref : hirist.tech)
