Job description

GrowExx is looking for smart and passionate   Senior Software Engineer- QA , who has previously written and executed test cases on enterprise projects with comprehensive understanding of all aspects of SDLC, STLC in the Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to analyse System Requirements end to end to develop Test Automation Strategies for the application
  • Create Test Automation Framework using Cypress to meet the required Quality andNFR for a given system
  • Overall responsible on the Implementation of the Tasks allocated during the sprint, Analyse User Journeys, Mind maps & Process Flows and write test cases for the same
  • Identify any unknowns i.e. missing scenarios, etc and consult with PO to ensure those are defined either as a User story or UAC
  • Perform exploratory testing – asking the 'what if' questions and applying this to explore requirements, software, architecture etc.
  • Write Automation Test Cases based on the defined Quality requirements and Testing Parameters for a given System
  • Provide detailed estimates before the start of the sprints. Need to work with the Team to get the estimates
  • Review Test cases / Test scripts written by peers / team members
  • Create Technical documents as required for the project in Jira, Confluence or other tools
  • Produce automated Quality Reports demonstrating all the required Quality Metrics for a given system
  • Define DEBUG structure to identify causes for any issues and develop speedier resolution
  • Define User Acceptance Criteria, ideally using Gherkin scripts
  • Become Quality Evangelist in the organisation and advocate best practices to develop high quality software.
  • Provide POs and ADMs with daily updates of the team via Jira and teams
  • Provide HR and Management with any relevant information to help improve organisation culture & performance

Key Skills

  • Good knowledge of testing Restful API based micro services and / or ESB asynchronous message-based systems.
  • Experience with Record & Playback testing using automation tools (Cypress Mandatory)
  • Good knowledge of Blackbox and Integration tests.
  • Good knowledge of Java / Cypress / Gherkin Stack across a multi-browser testing

  • Can work with Zephyr and JIRA
  • Experience in designing and running appropriate load tests (Locust / JMeter)
  • Good to have knowledge of Security Testing
  • Exposure to Test Driven Development and BDD
  • Knowledge of WCAG Level 2.0

    • Education And Experience

  • B Tech or B. E. (Computer Science / Information Technology)
  • 4-7 Years of relevant experience as QA Engineer
  • Should have worked on enterprise level project
