Senior BackBase Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backbase Backend Consultant to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize backend services that power complex, large-scale systems. You will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with modern engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement microservices following industry-standard patterns and best practices.
• Build solutions leveraging event-driven architecture, including message brokers and asynchronous processing.
• Contribute to architectural decision-making, code reviews, and technical design documents.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Frontend, Product) to deliver end-to-end features and improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement by advocating for modern engineering principles, automation, testing, and clean code.
