GROUP CREDIT OFFICER

Description

The Group Credit Officer will be responsible for managing the credit risk of our customers, ensuring that credit policies are adhered to, and providing recommendations to mitigate financial risk.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate credit applications and assess credit risk for new and existing customers.
• Monitor and review credit limits and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure alignment on credit policies.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Conduct regular credit reviews and recommend adjustments to credit limits as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of credit assessments and decisions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-8 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in credit risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with financial statements and credit reporting systems.
