Job description

Role Description :

Develop, test and maintain applications with established processes while building holistic understanding of the underlying applications in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) domain.

This will be Individual contributor role.

Skills & Experience :

Languages : Python, Javascript / Typescript

Skills / tools :

AWS (CDK, Lambdas, & CloudWatch mainly)
GitHub

Good to have : Understanding of Observability Tools (Dynatrace, Elastic Stack)

Mandatory skills

The candidate must be proficient in Python, JavaScript / TypeScript.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies like AWS services (Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, Route53, S3, DynamoDB), CI / CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.

The candidate should be familiar with monitoring, logging, and telemetry using tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or similar.

Develop tools / solutions to automate, to standardize deployments and operations in regards to System / application / infrastructure monitoring.

Integration with systems over APIs / REST services.

The candidate should be good in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests cases.

The candidate must be aware with Agile ceremonies

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain technical designs based on requirements

Develop application code for programs while following coding standards

Develop and execute unit tests

Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project

Support application testing and resolve test defects.

Report status updates as required by the project

Follow established project execution processes

Resolve queries / issues and provide Application / functional support to peers.

Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported

Ready to work in Oncall support (Including weekend support)

Knowledge sharing
