We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our India growing team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring top-tier quality, efficiency, and compliance across the OEM production process for solar PV modules.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage the entire OEM factory process, including incoming material inspection, production workflows, and final product testing.
Verify that all raw materials used by the OEM factory comply with CSI BOM requirements.
Oversee production quality, conduct final product inspections, and supervise shipment processes.
Review and validate technical process documents such as soldering parameters (stringer temperature, lamination time) and EL testing standards.
Supervise reliability tests including PID testing and damp heat cycling.
Provide updated BOMs, SIPs, SOPs, and technical drawings to OEM partners.
Use analytical tools to quickly diagnose and resolve common issues (e.g., lamination bubbles).
Establish a rapid-response mechanism to resolve urgent on-site quality issues within 2 hours.
Lead and follow up on 8D reports for major quality incidents.
Track daily production progress and ensure timely reporting.
Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality and production reports.
Coordinate and communicate monthly OEM production plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
3–5 years of engineering experience in the quality or technical department of a PV module factory, with at least 3 years in the solar industry.
Strong knowledge of EL / IV curve testing, CTM calculation methods, and EVA crosslinking degree testing.
Skilled in data analysis with strong problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with India’s BIS certification process and local labor laws.
Excellent English communication skills.
Proficiency in Gujarati is preferred; Mandarin (Chinese) is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Indian tolling regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience in factory setup in India or Southeast Asia is a plus.
