Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Network Engineer – Cisco Routing & Switching

with strong expertise in

OSPF & BGP . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot

Cisco routers and switches

Implement and support

OSPF & BGP routing protocols

in enterprise networks

Handle L2 / L3 network issues, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, ACLs

Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements

Monitor network performance and ensure high availability

Conduct root cause analysis & implement preventive actions

Work with firewalls, WAN, LAN, and network security tools (as needed)

Documentation of configurations, changes, and network diagrams

️ Required Skills

Strong Routing Skills :

OSPF, BGP (Mandatory)

• ️ Cisco Routing & Switching (Cisco 2900 / 3900 / 9000 series)
• ️ VLAN, STP, HSRP / VRRP, EtherChannel
• ️ ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS
• ️ Network troubleshooting (L1–L4)
• ️ Hands-on with Cisco IOS configurations

⭐ Good to Have

CCNA / CCNP certification

Experience with MPLS / QoS / SD-WAN technologies

Knowledge of firewalls (Cisco ASA / Palo Alto / Fortinet)

Experience with SolarWinds, PRTG, or other monitoring tools

Ideal Candidate

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good communication & ticket-handling experience

Ability to manage incidents in large enterprise networks
