Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for business users.
  • Integrate Power BI with SAP BW / SAP HANA, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
  • Leverage OData services to extract and connect SAP BW data into Power BI environments.
  • Develop complex DAX calculations and Power Query transformations to deliver dynamic and interactive reports.
  • Optimize data models and queries for improved performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, SAP, and business units) to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting layers.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power BI solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay updated on latest Power BI and SAP integration trends and recommend best practices.

Required Skills :

  • Must have at least 7 years of experience with Power BI
  • Need someone who has worked on SAP Data or BW Hana Data
  • Integration of Power BI with SAP BW (Business Warehouse) to enable effective data reporting, analysis, and visualization.
  • Proficient in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query M language for data transformation and calculation.
  • Hands-on experience with OData services for data extraction from SAP BW to Power BI.
