Freelance Machine Learning Engineer

Looking for a Freelance Machine Learning Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 10+ yrs. of experience.

You will report into IIT'ans / BITS grads with 10+ years of development experience + work with F500 companies (our customers).

Company Background - We are a multinational software company that is growing at a fast pace. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q4 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy ML models into production-grade environments.

Set up and manage MLOps pipelines for continuous training, monitoring, and versioning.

Automate workflows for data processing, model deployment, and CI / CD.

Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate business needs into ML solutions.

Implement model performance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Optimize ML workloads for scalability, cost, and performance in cloud environments.

Ensure best practices in security, governance, and reproducibility.

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have) :

Hands-on experience in Multimodality : candidate must have practical experience working with at least two modalities (Text + Vision or Text + Audio or Vision + Audio).

Must have worked on multimodal pipelines, model building, or fine-tuning — not just using ChatGPT APIs or basic integration.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on work in multimodal ML , computer vision, or audio ML.

Strong experience with Computer Vision is required for Rockets project roles.

The CV must clearly reflect experience in :

Image processing / vision-based ML

Audio AI (if applicable)

Multimodal architectures, datasets, or projects

Good to Have :

Experience with Generative AI, diffusion models, transformers, or similar.

Exposure to GPU training, model optimization, and large-scale datasets.
