Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, frameworks development, and integration of testing processes into the CI / CD pipeline. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.

Write efficient, reusable, and reliable automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, Cypress , etc.

Perform API testing , integration testing, and end-to-end automation.

Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and best testing practices are followed.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to a robust testing strategy.

Identify test scenarios and edge cases from business requirements.

Ensure seamless integration of automated tests in CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Investigate and debug test failures, and log detailed defect reports.

Monitor test executions and maintain test reports.

Required Skills :

4 6 years of hands-on experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured , or equivalent.

Strong programming / scripting skills in Java , Python , or JavaScript .

Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools like Postman , Swagger , RestAssured .

Experience with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven / Gradle) .

Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

Good exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter , Gatling (optional but preferred).

Good to Have :

Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow .

Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker .

Experience with database testing and SQL queries.

Soft Skills :

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
