What will you be doing as an SAP Basis Senior Consultant @ delaware India?

As an SAP Basis Senior Consultant , with strong expertise in SAP Public Cloud environments, you will contribute to implementation and support engagements with a strong focus on cloud operations, system lifecycle management, landscape support, monitoring, release management, security, and cross-functional coordination.

You should have experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation or support engagement. Experience with SAP Private Cloud Edition / RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, or traditional On-Premise SAP landscapes is an added advantage.

As a member of our global SAP practice, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across regions and play a key role in delivering innovative SAP S/4HANA solutions while leveraging industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SAP Basis / Cloud Operations activities during SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation, migration, cutover, hypercare, and support engagements.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition landscape operations, including system provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate SAP-managed release upgrades, maintenance activities, and planned system changes with relevant SAP and project stakeholders.
• Support Public Cloud transport processes and release management, including coordination of changes across the relevant landscape.
• Use SAP Cloud ALM and other SAP monitoring tools for system health, availability, incident monitoring, and operational visibility.
• Support user, role, identity, and security-related activities in coordination with functional and security teams.
• Support identity and access integration activities, including IAS/IPS, SSO, and related authentication flows where applicable.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, integration, security, infrastructure, and SAP teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support cloud operations including tenant/service requests, incident management, interface monitoring, and coordination with SAP Cloud Operations.
• Participate in cutover planning, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Support SAP BTP administration and connectivity activities, including destinations and integration-related requirements where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, operational standards, security guidelines, and project governance.
• Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, knowledge-transfer material, and provide mentoring to junior consultants.
• Support disaster recovery, backup validation, and business continuity activities where applicable and within the defined operating model.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP Basis / Cloud Operations experience, with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation or significant production support engagement.
• Understanding of SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard implementation methodology.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM for implementation and/or operations.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition landscape, release, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Experience coordinating incidents, service requests, planned changes, and SAP support activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP security, user/role administration, and cloud identity concepts.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Private Cloud Edition (RISE with SAP) .
• SAP On-Premise Basis administration experience.
• SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM experience.
• SAP HANA administration exposure.
• SAP S/4HANA conversion or migration project experience.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP administration.
• Exposure to SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience working with hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure , AWS , or Google Cloud Platform .
• Automation and scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Python).
• SAP certifications in SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, Public Cloud, or related technologies.
