Company Description Peacechat is India's first Relationship & Emotional Support App, that connects users with empathetic listeners, dating coaches, relationship experts, influencers, and celebrities. The platform offers one-to-one chat and call sessions to support users through relationship challenges, emotional concerns, and life transitions. Role Description The Listener role at Peacechat is a part-time, remote position focused on providing emotional support and active listening to users through one-to-one chat and call sessions. On a day-to-day basis, Listeners will engage with users, understand their concerns, respond with empathy, and offer constructive guidance within Peacechat's ethical and safety guidelines. Listeners will document key points from conversations as needed, maintain confidentiality, and escalate any high-risk situations according to defined protocols. The role also includes staying updated on best practices in emotional support, following platform policies, and participating in occasional training or feedback sessions.
Qualifications

• Strong active listening, empathy, and non-judgmental communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly in one-to-one conversations.
• Emotional resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries while supporting users with sensitive topics.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English (additional Indian languages are a plus), with comfort using chat and call-based platforms.
• Basic understanding of relationship dynamics, mental well-being, and when to recommend professional help or escalate concerns.
• Reliable internet connection, a quiet and private space to take calls, and strong time-management skills to honor scheduled sessions.
• Prior experience in counseling, coaching, peer support, or customer support is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Commitment to inclusivity, confidentiality, and adhering to Peacechat's ethical guidelines and safety standards.
