Job description:

Role: Senior React Developer / Consultant

We are looking for a Senior React Developer consultant with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, performant, and maintainable web applications. The consultant will work closely with engineering, product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality frontend solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals, component design, hooks, lifecycle, reusable components, and scalable React application architecture.
• Experience with REST API integration, request/response handling, error handling, and frontend data flow management.
• Good understanding of React Router, route protection, navigation flows, and page-level application structure.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar.
• Good understanding of session handling, cookie handling, browser storage, authentication, and authorization flows.
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
• Good understanding of frontend performance optimization, lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and bundle optimization.
• Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Vite, Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn/pnpm.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and component testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git branching strategies, pull requests, and code review practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with product owners, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
• Ability to write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, Storybook, Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or similar.
• Knowledge of micro frontends or modular frontend architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of frontend security best practices, including token handling, protected routes, secure cookie usage, and OWASP guidelines.
• Experience in enterprise-scale applications or ecommerce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React-based frontend applications.
• Convert business requirements and UX/UI designs into functional, responsive, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST APIs and handle frontend data flows effectively.
• Implement routing, authentication, authorization, session management, and secure user flows.
• Ensure application performance, accessibility, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and estimation.
• Identify and resolve frontend defects, performance issues, and technical debt.
• Follow engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development guidelines.
• Support releases, deployment validation, and production issue analysis when required.

Experience

• 6+ years of overall frontend development experience.
• 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Prior consulting or enterprise project experience is preferred.

Required cloud certification: AZ-900, AZ-204 and great to have AZ-305
