About the Opportunity

AfterQuery is seeking bilingual speakers of Indian languages and English to contribute to expert evaluation data used by frontier AI labs to measure and improve their models. Selected contributors will record and review speech data, helping AI systems better understand Indian languages, accents, bilingual communication, and natural speech patterns.

The work includes recording both scripted and conversational speech, producing natural code-switched recordings, and reviewing transcripts for accuracy. This is an ongoing, fully remote and asynchronous opportunity with flexible weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Record scripted and conversational speech in an Indian language and English.
• Produce natural code-switched recordings that reflect how bilingual speakers communicate in real-world settings.
• Review and correct transcriptions of recorded speech for accuracy.
• Identify and flag audio that sounds natural but does not accurately match its transcript.
• Follow detailed recording prompts and project specifications precisely.
• Maintain clear and consistent audio quality throughout assigned projects.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent or near-fluent proficiency in an Indian language and full professional fluency in English.
• Access to a quiet recording environment and a microphone capable of producing clean, clear audio.
• Comfort recording your own speech and following detailed prompt specifications.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing and correcting transcripts.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in voice-over, podcasting, narration, or audio production.
• Previous transcription, data annotation, or speech-data review experience.
• Professional-level fluency in more than one Indian language.
• Experience with bilingual or code-switched communication.
