Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Management

• Prepare laboratories for practical classes, experiments, workshops, and project activities.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure laboratories are organized, safe, and fully functional at all times.
• Maintain inventories of laboratory equipment, tools, consumables, and spare parts.
• Coordinate procurement and maintenance activities for laboratory resources.

Academic Support

• Assist faculty members in conducting laboratory classes and demonstrations.
• Guide students in performing experiments and operating equipment safely.
• Support student projects, capstone projects, and research activities.
• Assist in developing laboratory manuals, experiment procedures, and instructional materials.
• Evaluate laboratory records, reports, and practical assessments as assigned.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and university policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
• Maintain records related to equipment servicing, laboratory usage, and safety audits.
• Report equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.

Research & Development Support

• Assist faculty and research scholars in conducting experimental research.
• Support sponsored projects, consultancy assignments, and industry collaborations.
• Facilitate laboratory testing, data collection, and documentation activities.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory documentation and records.
• Support accreditation activities such as NBA, NAAC, and other quality initiatives.
• Assist in organizing workshops, technical events, training programs, and laboratory demonstrations.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
