Project Architect

Building on its extensive experience, the company is expanding into standalone residential development in Kolkata, focused on innovative, premier projects.

Role Description The Project Architect will oversee the design and coordination of architectural projects from concept through completion for on-site developments in Kolkata. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, managing design documentation, and coordinating submittals with contractors, consultants, and clients. The Project Architect will collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure that design intent is maintained, regulatory requirements are met, and quality standards are upheld. Daily responsibilities include participating in site meetings, resolving design and construction issues, integrating sustainable design practices, and supporting the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows. The role also involves contributing to project schedules, cost considerations, and continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Architecture skills, including concept design, technical detailing, and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Submittals, including preparation, review, and approval of drawings, material specifications, and construction documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
• Experience in residential or commercial building projects, preferably within urban or high-density environments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on-site and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent), and familiarity with quality and safety standards.
