Job description

Experience: 8 months to 2 yrs

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for Engineering and Technical roles across industries such as:
  • Oil & Gas / EPC
  • Aerospace / Aircraft
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Mining & Metals
  • Automotive
  • Heavy Engineering
  • Power & Renewable Energy
  • Should have strong experience in hiring white-collar engineering professionals such as Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Instrumentation Engineers, Project Engineers, Production Engineers, Quality Engineers, Maintenance Engineers and similar technical roles.
  • Source suitable candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, databases and other sourcing channels.
  • Screen candidates based on technical skills, experience, industry exposure, location and compensation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders/client SPOCs throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Schedule interviews and ensure regular candidate follow-up until selection.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on assigned positions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for niche and recurring engineering requirements.
  • Should be comfortable working on multiple requirements and meeting recruitment targets.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 2 4 years of recruitment experience.
  • Must have recruitment experience in at least one core engineering domain, preferably:
  • Oil & Gas, Aerospace/Aircraft, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mining, Automotive, Heavy Engineering, Power or Renewable Energy.
  • Strong exposure to white-collar/technical engineering hiring is mandatory.
  • Should have a good understanding of engineering skills, job titles and candidate profiles.
  • Good sourcing and candidate screening skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Should be able to communicate reasonably well in English and Hindi. Knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage.

  • Engineering staffing/recruitment companies
  • EPC companies
  • Oil & Gas organizations
  • Aerospace/Aviation engineering companies
  • Manufacturing or Automotive companies
  • Mining/Metals organizations
  • Engineering design & consulting firms
  • Heavy Engineering organizations

Profiles to Avoid

  • Recruiters with only IT recruitment experience and no engineering hiring exposure.
  • Recruiters who have handled only blue-collar / labour hiring.
  • Recruiters whose experience is predominantly international deployment/overseas manpower recruitment.
  • Recruiters with only generic/non-technical hiring exposure.

Ideal Candidate

A recruiter who understands engineering terminology and technical profiles and has successfully sourced and closed engineers for any core engineering industry. Oil & Gas experience is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has strong recruitment experience in another engineering domain.
