Marketing Merchandiser

Role Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Marketing Merchandiser to bring new business to Sredhya Exports PVT LTD. The role involves identifying and acquiring apparel brands, buying houses, and export clients while coordinating orders from development to delivery.

Experience Required- 5 to 10 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential fashion brands, buying houses and international buyers for business opportunities.

• Generate new leads through relevant channels.

• Understand the buyer/brand's product requirements and introduce Sredhya's manufacturing capabilities accordingly.

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients.

• Source new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

• Coordinate with buyers for styles, tech packs, specifications, pricing, samples and order requirements.

• Handle merchandising activities from initial enquiry through sampling, order confirmation and production handover.

• Coordinate internally with the production and sampling teams to ensure buyer requirements are understood and executed properly.

• Follow up on quotations, samples, approvals, orders and payments.

• Track leads and maintain a proper database/pipeline of prospective customers.

• Research target brands and identify the right decision-makers for business outreach.

• Work towards achieving defined monthly/quarterly business generation targets.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in garment/fashion merchandising, business development, sourcing or a related field.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to independently identify and approach new buyers.

• Good understanding of garments, fabrics, construction, costing and production processes.

• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable working with targets and taking ownership of business generation.

• Knowledge of domestic and/or international fashion brands.

Role Nature:

This is a hands-on role where the candidate will be expected to actively contribute to generating business, sourcing buyers and managing merchandising.
