At VIATRIS, we see healthcare not as it is but as it should be. We act courageously and are uniquely positioned to be a source of stability in a world of evolving healthcare needs.
Viatris empowers people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.
We do so via:
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how Global Medical Omnichannel Lead role will make an impact:
Role Purpose
Medical Affairs reaches healthcare professionals through websites, email and campaigns, but today those channels are planned, built and measured separately. This role brings them together: one person accountable for how medical shows up digitally to an HCP, and for proving that it changes behavior.
The role owns the channels themselves- Medical websites, email delivery and global campaigns and sets the standard that country teams work to.
Key Responsibilities
Websites
Own the Medical presence on Viatris Connect Medical country sites and non-asset medical websites: content structure, publishing workflow, user journeys and performance.
Manage the CMS as a working platform- templates, components, permissions, release cycles and the agency or vendor teams that build on it.
Keep site content current and accurate in partnership with medical content owners.
Email and campaign delivery
Own Medical's use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud: audience selection, journey design, template governance, deliverability and reporting.
Plan and run global Medical campaigns end to end- audience, message, channel mix, calendar, delivery and results. Congress and symposium awareness campaigns aimed at driving HCP attendance at Medical sessions are a recurring example.
Set the standards country teams follow for local Medical campaigns, and support markets where capability is thin.
Internal platforms
Build and run internal-facing platforms for Medical Affairs colleagues, including the Global Medical Affairs Hub- the single place where medical teams find capabilities, resources, guidance and ways of working.
Design these platforms around how colleagues actually work: what they are looking for, when, and what they currently cannot find. Own the information architecture, the content model and the publishing routine that keeps the site alive.
Bring content owners across Medical Affairs into a shared way of publishing, so the Hub reflects the whole function rather than the teams that shout loudest.
Track usage and act on it.
Measurement
Define what good looks like in numbers- reach, engagement, follow-through and report it to Medical leadership on a regular cycle.
Make results comparable across countries so the organisation can tell what is working and stop what is not.
Compliance and consent
Work with Global Privacy, Legal and Compliance on how Medical uses communication consent across markets, and keep the operating rules clear for country teams.
Operate within medical, legal and regulatory review without treating it as a reason not to act.
Team and partners
Manage agency and vendor relationships, budgets and delivery timelines.
Work closely with Commercial omnichannel colleagues, IT and country medical leads.
