Role Description The Behaviour Therapist will provide direct, one-on-one and small-group interventions to children with behavioral, developmental, or learning challenges, using structured, evidence-based techniques. Daily responsibilities include assessing behavior, developing individualized behavior plans, implementing interventions, and tracking progress through detailed notes and data collection. The role involves regular communication with parents and caregivers, offering guidance on behavior strategies at home and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support consistency across settings. The Behaviour Therapist will also participate in case discussions, review sessions, and ongoing training to maintain high-quality practice. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Victory Mark Child Therapy and Learning Centre in Lucknow.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in behavior assessment, behavior intervention planning, and implementation of evidence-based behavioral therapies for children.
• Candidates should possess skills in observation, data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation of sessions and outcomes.
• Candidates should possess skills in child and adolescent communication, rapport building, and managing challenging behaviors in a calm, consistent manner.
• Candidates should possess collaboration skills for working with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear, empathetic communication.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of developmental disorders (such as autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning difficulties) and child development principles.
• Candidates should possess the ability to follow structured therapy protocols while adapting strategies to individual needs and cultural contexts.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in child therapy, special education, behavior therapy, or working in clinical or school-based settings is highly beneficial.
• Candidates should possess strong ethical standards, respect for confidentiality, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practice.
