Role Description The Team Leader Field Sales SoundBox EDC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. This role involves leading and supervising a field sales team responsible for promoting and selling Paytm SoundBox and EDC (Electronic Data Capture) solutions to merchants and businesses. The Team Leader will plan and execute daily sales activities, set targets, track performance, and ensure effective territory coverage. Responsibilities include coaching team members, supporting customer onboarding, resolving merchant queries, and ensuring a high standard of customer service in the field. The role also includes gathering market feedback, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and preparing regular reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, with experience in field sales or merchant acquisition.
• Team management and leadership abilities to guide, motivate, and develop field sales representatives.
• Customer service and relationship management skills to address merchant needs and build long-term partnerships.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse customers and internal teams.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales data, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Familiarity with digital payments, POS/EDC devices, or fintech products is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, travel within assigned territories, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
