Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading manufacturing operations across one or multiple sites, driving operational excellence, business growth, and profitability. This role oversees manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, and continuous improvement while ensuring world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations and deliver business objectives aligned with company strategy.
• Own P&L performance, including revenue growth, cost management, capital investments, and profitability.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and performance.
• Improve key metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead operational transformation, capacity expansion, and business improvement programs.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to support strategic business and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Build strong customer relationships and manage critical business reviews and escalations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with plant, operations, or business unit management responsibility.
• Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, capital investments, and operational profitability.
• Strong background in metal stamping and plastic injection molding operations.
• Experience in high-volume, precision manufacturing environments, preferably automotive or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated success leading operational turnaround, transformation, expansion, or new facility initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to build organizational capability, lead change, and deliver sustainable business results.
• Strong customer-facing leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
