Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development to execution, ensuring alignment with client goals, budget, and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and presentations, coordinating FF&E selections, and overseeing space planning and interior layouts. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, vendors, and junior designers, reviewing construction documentation, and conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality. The Senior Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and provide guidance to the team to maintain design standards and project efficiency. This is a full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site studio and site work and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience of 5-6 years as an interior designer.
• Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically cohesive environments.
• Solid understanding of Architecture principles and integration of interior solutions with structural and building systems.
• Proficiency in developing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
• Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Proven experience leading interior design projects, managing timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of local building codes, construction practices, and vendor networks in New Delhi is an advantage.
