Role:- Taxation Reporting

Job location: - Chennai perungudi world trade center

Shift:- General shifts – Mon-Fri work from office

\n

Notice period:- immediate joiners

The role is responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance, supporting reporting and mis requirement and ensuring accurate, timely and well documented tax and finance submission.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities.

\n

\n
1. Own end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliance, including return preparation, filings, reconciliations, and statutory timelines.
\n
2. Monitor GST, direct tax, and other applicable regulatory changes; assess business impact and ensure timely implementation of compliant processes.
\n
3. Prepare accurate and timely Head Office submissions, including financial and operational MIS, KPI summaries, variance analysis, and forecast inputs.
\n
4. Analyse tax positions, identify exposures and opportunities, and support management with practical tax-planning and risk-mitigation insights.
\n
5. Coordinate with tax authorities, statutory auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for assessments, audits, notices, and information requests
\n
6. Partner with Accounting, Finance, and business teams to gather, validate, and reconcile data for tax, reporting, and MIS deliverables.
\n
7. Strengthen documentation, audit trails, and data integrity across tax computations, filings, reconciliations, and management reports.
\n
8. Identify and drive process improvements or automation opportunities that improve compliance controls, reporting quality, and turnaround time.
\n
9. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with reliable financial data, trend analysis, and clear exception commentary.

Mandate skills:

\n

\n
• Working Experience of direct tax, indirect tax, GST compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting requirements
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify exceptions, and summarize key issues clearly.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and reconciliations; PowerPoint skills preferred for MIS decks.
\n
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems; exposure to Tally ERP Prime Edit Log and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be an added advantage.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, consultants, and authorities.
\n
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to meet strict statutory and management-reporting deadlines
\n
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications

Qualification:- CA 1st/ 2nd attempt dropout, CA Inter, ca final student, ca semi qualified , or equivalent to charted accountant institute (ICAI,ICSI,NADT,ACCA,CPA)

Experience:- Total& relevant exp of 3+ years in end to end Taxation reporting & finance operation and reporting including direct tax, indirect tax, income tax ,GST return filling & compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting, mis reporting, statutory audit and compliance , management report, tds return filling and compliance
