About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Back-End Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions and integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building custom business logic, plugins, workflows, APIs, and integrations using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and .NET technologies.

As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with solution architects, front-end developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality CRM solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM applications.
• Develop custom plugins, workflows, custom actions, business process flows, and server-side extensions using the Dynamics 365 SDK.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to integrate Dynamics 365 CRM with internal and third-party applications.
• Develop custom business logic using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and Microsoft technologies.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Work extensively with Microsoft Dataverse and Dynamics 365 entities.
• Develop and maintain secure integrations using Azure services where applicable.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and resolve production incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable CRM solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and API documentation.
• Ensure applications comply with Microsoft's security and development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development.
• Excellent hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 SDK.
• Experience developing Plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, Custom Actions, and Business Process Flows.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems.
• Strong SQL Server development skills including stored procedures, views, indexing, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Understanding of Dynamics 365 Security Model including Users, Teams, Roles, and Business Units.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, or Azure API Management.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, or other CRM modules.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform integrations.
• Experience working with enterprise CRM implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM backend development experience preferred.
