Job description

We’re Hiring: SAP FSAM Consultant | Remote – India

Syntax is looking for an experienced SAP Field Service and Asset Management (FSAM) Consultant to join our team in India.

Experience: 5–8 years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote – India

What you will do

  • Deliver end-to-end SAP FSAM implementations, rollouts, and AMS support.
  • Configure FSAM capabilities, including Planning & Dispatching Board, Service Map, Work Orders, Activities, Time & Material Journal, scheduling, and mobile execution.
  • Support AI-enabled scheduling, dispatching, route optimization, and technician/resource planning.
  • Integrate SAP FSAM with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, Service, and ERP systems through connectors, APIs, and data loaders.
  • Support work-order lifecycle, service confirmations, asset/service master data, testing, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, integration, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What we are looking for

  • 5–8 years of SAP experience, including 2–4 years of hands-on SAP FSAM / SAP Field Service Management experience .
  • Strong knowledge of field-service and asset-management processes, including planning, dispatching, mobile execution, and service confirmations.
  • Hands-on FSAM configuration experience: dispatching board, service map, work orders, scheduling, activities, and Smartforms/checklists.
  • Experience integrating FSAM with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management / Service / ERP .
  • Good understanding of equipment, functional locations, installed base, service contracts, entitlements, business partners, and products.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing consulting skills.

Preferred Skills

  • SAP FSAM/FSM certification.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM/Plant Maintenance, SSAM, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and API-based integrations.
  • Exposure to AMS, Agile delivery, AI-supported scheduling, analytics, and workforce management.
