Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of advanced computer-vision and AI systems. The role will require hands‐on algorithm work, productionising models, mentoring teams, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‐to‐end computer vision pipeline : data collection & annotation → model design / training → deployment (edge or cloud) → monitoring & maintenance.
- Develop and optimise deep learning and classical computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, OCR, pose estimation, sensor fusion, 3D vision.
- Integrate vision / AI modules into software systems and hardware (e.g., embedded / edge devices, multi‐camera rigs).
- Collaborate with product, hardware and software teams to translate business / technical requirements into vision‐AI solutions.
- Optimise model inference : latency, throughput, memory / compute footprint, edge‐deployment constraints.
- Stay current with state‐of‐the‐art in computer vision and AI, evaluate new techniques and adapt them into products.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or preferably Master's / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, AI or related STEM discipline.Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in computer vision / deep learning / AI in production settings.Proficiency in programming (Python mandatory; C++ / Java or equivalent desirable).Strong experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras) and computer vision libraries (OpenCV, etc.).Solid mathematical foundations : linear algebra, probability, optimisation, signal / image processing.Experience deploying models to production : cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure) or edge / embedded environments.Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate effectively, and lead technical discussions.Nice-to-Have
Experience in sensor fusion, multi‐camera systems, 3D vision, LiDAR / depth data.Experience with real-time video analytics, streaming inference, model quantisation / acceleration (e.g., TensorRT, ONNX, OpenVINO).Experience with edge devices (Jetson, Coral, FPGA) or embedded image processing pipelines.Publications or strong portfolio of vision / AI work, participation in open source or research community.Why Join Us
