Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Attendant role based in Kochi. The Sales Attendant will greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable products, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Daily responsibilities include managing product displays, restocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining a clean, organized sales area. The role also involves processing sales transactions, handling cash or digital payments accurately, and issuing receipts. The Sales Attendant will respond to customer queries, support promotional activities, coordinate with the store and warehouse teams, and follow company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
• Basic sales and retail operations skills, including product presentation, upselling, and handling transactions.
• General math and cash-handling skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage stock, maintain displays, and support store operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move products safely, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Proficiency in basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) systems; comfort with digital payment methods.
• Fluency in English and local languages used in Kochi; strong listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Prior experience in retail, trading, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
