Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled L3 O365 Engineer to lead escalated support, advanced troubleshooting, and architectural enhancement for Microsoft 365 services. The candidate will function as a subject-matter expert across Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teamsdriving stability, performance, and user experience in a secure cloud-first environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Exchange Online, including mailbox access, email delivery failures, and transport rules
- Support OneDrive for Business : sync issues, access permissions, data recovery, and sharing configurations
- Manage SharePoint Online site access, permissions, library errors, and integration with Microsoft Teams
- Provide assistance with Microsoft Teams : meeting scheduling, chat synchronization, call quality, and app integrations
- Collaborate with L1 support teams to escalate unresolved incidents and ensure timely ticket resolution
- Assist in O365 license provisioning, group assignments, and mailbox migrations
- Maintain documentation for troubleshooting guides, user FAQs, and platform updates
- Perform periodic health checks across O365 services and generate usage reports
- Ensure adherence to IT security and compliance standards during user provisioning and collaboration setups
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to train junior support staff
- Own the resolution of high-complexity incidents across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Design, implement, and optimize configurations and policies in Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Exchange Admin Console, and Security & Compliance Center
- Manage user provisioning, mailbox migrations, retention policies, and mail flow rules
- Administer SharePoint Online architecture : sites, libraries, metadata, and access controls
- Oversee OneDrive performance, data recovery, quota management, and cross-platform sync
- Troubleshoot Teams collaboration issues, meeting integrations, governance policies, and guest access scenarios
- Collaborate with stakeholders on M365 roadmap planning, licensing strategy, and cost optimization
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell) for reporting, user management, and policy enforcement
- Work closely with InfoSec and IAM teams to ensure compliance, data protection, and security posture
- Mentor L1 / L2 engineers through technical trainings and onboarding resources
- Author and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, KB articles, and RCA reports
