AWS Serverless Application Engineer

Job Summary : We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with strong experience in AWS serverless technologies, particularly AWS Lambda. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building automation scripts, handling file transfers and transformations, and developing event-driven workflows using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Python Development & Automation

o Write efficient Python scripts for file processing, transformations, and data workflows.

o Develop reusable, scalable code for AWS Lambda functions.

2. AWS Serverless Solutions

o Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda

o Integrate Lambda with services like S3, SNS, SQS, and Event Bridge.

o Optimize functions for performance and cost efficiency.

3. Event-Driven & Workflow Management

o Design and implement event-driven pipelines using Event Bridge, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.

4. Testing & Debugging

o Write unit / integration tests for Lambda functions.

o Debug production / staging issues and ensure reliability.

5. CI / CD & Deployment

o Implement CI / CD pipelines using Code Pipeline, Code Build, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

6. Documentation & Best Practices

o Maintain technical documentation for code, architecture, and workflows.

o Ensure adherence to AWS best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills :

• Strong proficiency in Python (3.X) for scripting, data processing, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda (development, deployment, optimization).
• Knowledge of AWS services : S3, Event bridge, SNS, SQS, IAM.
• Experience with serverless frameworks.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Git / GitHub and collaborative workflows.
