Apparel Merchandiser

Experience : 2 to 3 years (Apparel Industry Only)

Responsibilities :

Handle end-to-end product development processes, including

concept ideation, design coordination, fabric sourcing, sample development, and bulk production management.

Work closely with factories, job workers, and suppliers to ensure timely development of samples and production schedules.

Conduct regular follow-ups with production teams to monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain timeline discipline.

Oversee garment quality across all stages sampling, fit approvals, pre-production, and final inspection, ensuring adherence to brand standards and specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, and merchandising to translate creative ideas into commercially viable products.

Ensure effective vendor communication, negotiate sampling and bulk costs where applicable, and maintain healthy professional relationships.

Skills Required :

Strong hands-on experience in apparel product development, preferably in

kids’ casual wear

and woven garments.

Thorough understanding of fabric types, trims, fits, and garment construction techniques.

Structured project management approach with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver within deadlines.

Detail-oriented, creative, and solution-driven mindset with a passion for quality and innovation.
