Roles and Responsibilities

Business Analyst We are seeking a Business Analyst who will be responsible for managing our SQL databases, optimizing data extraction and transformation processes, and creating interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, including DDL and DML, as well as advanced SQL concepts like stored procedures and logging. They should also possess a strong understanding of Power BI, including DAX, Azure Analysis Services models, visualization, hosting, and data modelling. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory is a plus. Key Responsibilities : 1.SQL Database Management :

Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
Implement and optimize DDL and DML operations.
Create and manage stored procedures, triggers, and logging mechanisms.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance.

2. Power BI Development :

Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

Write and optimize DAX queries for data modelling and calculations.

Design visually appealing and insightful visualizations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

3.Azure Integration :

Work with Azure Analysis Services models for data analysis.

Host Power BI reports in Azure environments.

Collaborate with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.

Utilize Azure Data Factory for data pipeline orchestration.

4. Data Modelling and Transformation :

Develop and maintain data models for reporting and analysis.

Identify opportunities for data quality improvement and data cleansing.

Implement data transformation techniques to prepare data for reporting.

5. Documentation and Training :

Maintain comprehensive documentation for database schemas, ETL processes, and Power BI reports.

Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proficiency in SQL, including DDL, DML, stored procedures, and logging.

Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and visualization.

Familiarity with Azure Analysis Services and Azure hosting.

Good understanding of data extraction and transformation techniques.

Complimentary skills in Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure database services are a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security
