We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Gold Loan Executive to handle gold appraisal, verification, documentation, and customer coordination at our Surat branch.
This role offers the opportunity to build strong expertise in gold appraisal and valuation while contributing to smooth, secure, and customer-friendly branch operations.
Job Responsibilities
Handle gold appraisal, documentation, and customer coordination while ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance at every step.
- Examine and assess gold ornaments received from customers.
- Check gold purity, weight, quality, and other relevant characteristics as per company guidelines.
- Conduct accurate gold appraisal and maintain proper records.
- Verify gold items and supporting customer documents.
- Assist customers and explain the gold appraisal/loan process clearly.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager and branch team for smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate system records and documentation for all transactions.
- Follow company SOPs, compliance requirements, and security procedures.
- Ensure safe handling and proper custody of gold as per company policies.
- Identify and report discrepancies or unusual findings to the concerned authority.
- Support branch operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, trustworthy, and confident working directly with customers and gold assets.
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in gold appraisal, jewellery, gold loans, banking, or NBFC operations preferred.
- Knowledge of gold purity, testing, weight, and valuation.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and responsibility.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work in a branch environment and follow operational and security procedures.
