Area Assistant Manager - Sales (Projects)

Job Description Job Description At IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (NEDS), we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our L7 - IN - LEGRAND - Project Sales department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in generating business and expanding our market presence within the project segments. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing sales strategies to target government departments, builders, and commercial/industrial customers. Responsibilities - Develop and implement sales plans to target project segments, including government, builders, and commercial/industrial clients. - Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients. - Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and achieve sales targets. - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay updated and adapt strategies accordingly. - Provide regular progress reports and sales performance analysis to the management team. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining high ethical standards. - Support the sales team in resolving customer queries and providing excellent customer service. - Stay updated with industry knowledge and product information to effectively promote our offerings. - Assist in training and mentoring junior sales team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in a project sales role, with a successful track record of generating business. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset. - Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM systems for effective sales management. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities. - Willingness to travel for business development and client meetings as required. - Fluency in English and any other regional languages is an advantage. - Familiarity with the local market and industry trends is preferred. - A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a passion for sales and business development.
