Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and post monthly journal entries (accruals amortizations allocations reclasses).
Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities ensuring compliance with US GAAP/IFRS.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and support trial balance accuracy.
Assist in preparation of management reporting packages and financial analysis.
Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
Support internal/external audits by preparing schedules explanations and reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Activities
Generate customer invoices in NetSuite and ensure accuracy of billing data.
Track AR balances and prepare monthly AR reports (aging DSO overdue status).
Coordinate with US finance teams to monitor and report collections status.
Support cash application and reconciliation of customer receipts.
Provide regular AR dashboards and collection insights to management.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to SOX/internal controls and support audits with schedules.
Monitor intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Follow US accounting policies and ensure accurate reporting of receivables.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with US Controllers FP&A and Operations on AR and GL matters.
Partner with Sales/Revenue teams for invoice queries credit memos and collections.
Liaise with AP Payroll and Treasury for cross-functional accounting requirements.
Act as a first point of escalation for queries from business partners and auditors.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance (CA Inter/MBA preferred).
810 years of experience in GL accounting reporting and AR operations.
Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite).
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables lookups) and reporting/analysis capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across US time zones.
Detail-oriented analytical and able to manage multiple deliverables.
