Job Role: Education Counselor- Chennai Job Title: Study Abroad Counselor / Overseas Education Sales Counselor Location: Annanagar, Chennai (Work from Office, 6 days a week, Weekends working) About the Role We are looking for a results-driven Study Abroad Counselor to join our overseas education team. This role blends education counseling, sales, and student mentorship — guiding students and parents through university selection, application timelines, and enrollment, while consistently meeting sales targets for study abroad and test-prep programs. Key Responsibilities - Counsel walk-in, phone, and online inquiries on study abroad programs, university selection, and application timelines - Drive end-to-end education sales and counseling — from lead engagement and needs assessment to enrollment closure - Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for overseas education and test-prep courses - Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for students and parents - Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through follow-ups, referrals, and CRM-based lead management - Stay updated on study destinations (USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe), university admissions requirements, and student visa processes - Coordinate with academic and admissions teams for a seamless student experience - Represent Jamboree at education fairs, school outreach events, and partner institution visits Candidate Requirements - 1–4 years of experience in sales, preferably in education, study abroad, or overseas education - Fresh graduates/postgraduates from Tier-1 colleges in Chennai, available to join immediately - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English - Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills, target-oriented mindset Key Skills: Study Abroad Counseling, Education Sales, Admissions Counseling, Overseas Education, International Education, Student Counseling, Lead Generation, CRM, Consultative Selling, Sales Target Achievement, University Admissions, Visa Guidance, Test Prep Sales, B2C Sales, Career Counseling Location: Annanagar, Chennai (Work from Office, 6 days a week, Weekends working)
